Here’s why Mavy Legaspi calls Darren Espanto “brother-in-law”
Mavy Legaspi explained why he calls Darren Espanto, who’s one of his close friends in showbiz, “brother-in-law.”
In an interview, Mavy alongside his twin-sister Cassy, shared some details about their friendship with the singer.
“Ako kasi, Darren to me, brother ko na ‘yan e. As in we’re really that close na, most especially si Kyle Echarri din. Brotherhood talaga ‘yan, like, in the industry, we’re very, very close,” he said.
Mavy Legaspi added: “Those kinds of mga terms, it’s very, like, family, friendship-oriented na. It’s just teasing lang, basically.”
Mavy then teased Cassy: “Ikaw, Cass, what do you wanna say? Hmmm?”
To which she replied: “Like what Mavy said, I think naging family yung bond.”
According to Mavy, Cassy’s relationship with Darren has never been an issue.
The siblings said they know what their priorities are right now.
Cassy Legaspi, Mavy, and Darren as well as Kapamilya actor-singer Kyle Echarri are close friends.
Cassy Legaspi and Mavy first met Darren and Kyle when the twins guested on ABS-CBN Sunday musical-variety show, ASAP, in May 2015.
Over the years, their friendship has become even stronger, and sometimes they even have parties at the Legaspi’s residence.
