Jihyo and Kang Daniel split
K-pop idols Jihyo of the all-girl group Twice and singer Kang Daniel have broken up.
In the exclusive report of the Korean entertainment website Dispatch on Tuesday, November 10, it was confirmed that the 23-year-old singers have called it quits.
Their relationship lasted a year and three months.
According to the Dispatch report, Jihyo and Daniel separated due to a lack of time with each other.
They are both busy with their respective careers.
The Dispatch source was quoted as saying that the K-pop idols “had clear goals.”
The source added: “As they were focused on working on their albums, the number of meetings decreased. It appears that they thought work is more important now.”
Jihyo and Twice are now busy promoting their new album Eyes Wide Open.
Kang Daniel is also busy recording his new album.

On the other hand, KONNECT Entertainment- Kang Daniel’s talent agency, said that they will issue a statement on the matter when the singer gives a go-signal.
It was in 2018 when Jihyo and Daniel met through a common friend.
Daniel was then the leader of the 11-member K-pop boy band Wanna One.
Wanna One disbanded before the end of 2018 after the contracts of its members expired.
Then, Kang Daniel decided to go solo and founded his own talent agency, KONNECT Entertainment.
