The young singer, who recently graduated from high school and was currently in Canada, admitted that he’s contemplating on going straight to college given the current situation.
“At the moment since nasa Canada ako and naka-quarantine, it’s crossed my mind. I’ve mentioned it to my family din na paano kaya kung ituloy ko muna ang studies ko sa Canada since wala rin talaga akong magagawa sa sitwasyon natin ngayon,” Darren said in an interview with Toni Gonzaga for “I Feel U” last June.
However, he said that he would like to pursue both his music career and his studies at the same time. Hence, it was his goal to find a school that was flexible enough to fit his timeline.
Meanwhile, Darren said last September that he wanted to have a collaboration with Cassy Legaspi once Cassy reached 100,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
And since Cassy’s YouTube channel surpassed 100,000 subscribers, she or Darren will give an update about their collab.
[UPDATE] Darren’s single “Believe in Christmas” was already available on Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, iTunes Store, and YouTube.
With this, PUSH’s “Darren Espanto releases first Christmas album” article was already taken down from its site as of this writing.
