Coco Martin pays tribute to Susan Roces
Ang Probinsyano lead actor Coco Martin lauded veteran actress Susan Roces in his birthday video.
Susan was the wife of the late Fernando Poe, Jr who did the original Ang Probinsyano. She has the opportunity to work with the new generation of artists in the said project.
Indeed, Susan is one of the pillars of showbiz in the Philippines and as part of Coco’s birthday celebration, he dedicated a portion for the veteran actress.
Based on the article from Bandera, Coco Martin thanked all the people who have been supporting their action-drama series and it is already going to its fifth year already.
“Sa pagbuo ng teleserye ng ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,’ napakarami niyang kuwento at pagsubok na puwedeng i-share sa mga tao. Napakaraming beses na maraming naaksidente, kahit ako po,” he said.
He added that they had to do these kinds of scenes in order to offer a good output to their viewers. Then, he said that he is paying tribute to Susan Roces who is playing as his mother in the series.
“Gusto ko po sanang ibigay ang respeto at tribute na ito para kay Tita Susan. Sa gitna ng pagsubok at pandemya na pinagdadaanan namin ngayon, hindi po siya nagparamdam na iiwan niya kami,” the actor said.
Coco revealed that the veteran actress really found ways in order to shoot for her scenes even though she’s just at home. For the actor, Susan is the mother, grandmother, and the heart of Ang Probinsyano.
“Pamilya po kami rito. Hindi po kami tatagal ng ganito katagal kung hindi po kami nagmamahalan at nagrerespetuhan,” Coco Martin stressed.
Based on the article, Susan was really in favor that Coco will be the lead actor of her late husband’s past project.
