Actor Alden Richards had recently shared that he planned to spend his holidays with his family as Christmas season was fast approaching.
In an interview, Alden told GMANetwork.com that they planned to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ inside their home instead of going out of town like they used to in the previous years.
He also sent positive vibes to his fans for the coming year ahead as he shared his thoughts on the recent crisis brought by coronavirus disease pandemic and the back-to-back typhoons that recently hit the country.
According to him, this was one of the hardest times that they had been through and also “one of the longest”.
“Tayong mga Pinoy, in times of trials talaga, kailangan nating magtulungan at wala rin naman magtutulungan kundi tayong mga Pinoy kasama ang ilan nating kababayan,” Alden said.

The Kapuso actor also said that there were things that were out of their control and the only thing they could do was to pray, to be patient, to wait for things to get better, and to adjust to the changing times.
In addition, he encouraged the public to have the courage to fight every day because it’s difficult to defeat the enemy that cannot be seen.
