Poor Man Receives Brand New Bicycle from Kind Netizens After Posting Photos of Makeshift Bike he Created for His Son
The poor man who goes viral online after posting a makeshift bike for son has received a brand new bicycle from kind-hearted netizens.
Previously, a Facebook user named Anton Mendoza Jr. has shared the photos of the makeshift bicycle he created for his son. He used several pieces of scrap woods, wheels from damaged toys, and other recycled materials.
Mendoza could afford to buy a new bike for his son for having no work because of his condition. Anton suffered an accident three years ago, which makes him disable. His wife is working as a house maid and just earning P6,000 per month.
Anton said that his three-year-old son named Anjo is always requesting a bicycle but they can’t afford to buy one due to poverty.
“Lagi nagpapabili ng bike ang anak ko, wala naman kaming pera kaya naisip [kong] gumawa na lang at dahil doon napasaya ko ang anak ko,” Anton said.
Recently, a Good Samaritan donated a brand new bike for Anjo and some kind-hearted netizens also send toys and a certain amount of cash for their family. The kid is very happy with his new bicycle.
The poor man also expressed his gratitude towards the kind and generous people who extend their helping hand to them.
