The total number of coronavirus cases in the Philippines already reached 378,933 with over 2,000 newly-reported cases, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
This, as the Department of Health gave an update on the total number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines as of 4:00 p.m. today, October 30, 2020.
According to its COVID-19 Case Bulletin #230 dated October 30, 2020, the Department of Health reported 2,006 newly-reported COVID-19 cases. This brought the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus disease to 378,933.
Also, the Department of Health reported 41,291 total active cases wherein 83.3% were mild cases, 11.1% were asymptomatic cases, 3.6% were critical cases, and 2.0% were severe cases.

Moreover, the Department of Health identified the top five areas with the highest number of new coronavirus cases as of October 30 only: Batangas with 124 new cases, Cavite with 121 new cases, Quezon City with 105 new cases, Rizal with 89 new cases, and Bulacan with 81 new cases.
Aside from the number of confirmed cases, the Department of Health had recorded 636 newly-reported recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 330,457. Also, the Department of Health recorded 38 newly-reported fatalities, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths to 7,185.
Meanwhile, the national government formed a task group for COVID-19 vaccination program which was headed by the Department of Health (DOH).
