Celebrities and showbiz figures had recently took to social media as they mourned the death of veteran director Al Quinn.
This, after entertainment writer Noel Ferrer confirmed the said news about Al Quinn’s death in his Instagram account.
Singer-actor Ogie Alcasid posted on his Facebook post as he thanked the director for all the mentoring, the jokes, the golf games and tournaments, and all the wonderful times they had in the industry.
“You are a cut above the rest. Salute tito Al. Be with Jesus now“, Ogie said.
Actress Iza Calzado posted on her Instagram account as she remembered the many roles the director took in the entertainment industry. According to her, Al Quinn was a choreographer, a dancer, director, and a visual artist.
In her Instagram post, she said that Al Quinn was her father’s friend and he gave her opportunities to shine on television when she’s young and again when she became an actress/host for the awards night that he directed. She even described the director as a “kind”, “gentle”, and “generous” person.
“I promise to try my best to be here for your family in the way you were there for me when my dad went ahead. Tatay Al, rest now, with Nicole in heaven“, Iza said.

Talent manager GR Rodis posted on her Facebook account as she kept her message for Al Quinn short but sweet.
“Rest in God’s embrace Al Quinn. You will be missed“, GR Rodis said in her post.
Actress Lotlot De Leon a screen-captured photo of Al Quinn’s last message to her. She also shared how it’s a blessing to have known someone like him.
“Life is really just so fleeting. But knowing for sure that God has you up there with him, gives us that peace that you are now resting in his loving arms.” Lotlot said.
