Samsung was about to hold another Galaxy Unpacked event this September.
Samsung was about to hold another Galaxy Unpacked virtual press event which was scheduled to happen on September 23, 2020, at 10:00 PM PHT.
While Samsung didn’t confirm what the company planned to reveal, one big hint may be in the tagline of the said event: “Unpacked for Every Fan”.
This would seem to indicate that Samsung would officially announce the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition, which became the most-rumored device so far.
Based on the leaked specs and rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition may go on sale in October this year. Rumors suggested that Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition could have a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
In a report on Android Authority, there could be both 4G-only and 5G models – the 4G version might be using the company’s own Exynos 990 processor and the 5G model might be using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset.
In addition, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition was also rumored to have a triple-rear camera setup, with a 12MP main sensor, a 12MP wide-angle camera, and an 8MP telephoto lens. Moreover, this smartphone may also have a 32MP front-facing camera.
As per the report, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition was also rumored to contain a 4500mAh battery capacity, 6GB internal memory, and 128GB internal storage, adding that the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition could be offered in a wide variety of various colors.
