An insensitive comment of a netizen on the sudden death of YouTube star Lloyd Cadena elicited comments and mixed reactions from the netizens.
On Friday, September 5, Lloyd’s family confirmed via his official Facebook page that the 26-year-old YouTuber had passed away.
In the said post, the family had requested for prayer, respect, and privacy as they mourned the death of the late YouTube vlogger.
However, the family refused to divulge details about the latter’s cause of death.
While netizens mourn the death of the famous YouTuber, an insensitive comment on his demise surfaced on social media.
In a comment retrieved by Facebook page Christine & Jadel, the netizen with Facebook name Pernell Lucho A. Elizalde noted:
“It’s entirely his fault!!! Di pa kase nag diet diet yang majubis na yan ayan tuloy natigok!!! San na kukuha ngayon nanay niya ng pera pambayad sa bahay nila na kinuha aber? Nganga na!!! Balik iskwater na!!!.”
The insensitive comment was then flooded with reactions and comments from the netizens.
Lloyd Cadena was one of the famous Filipino YouTube vloggers in the country.
His YouTube channel “Lloyd Cafe Cadena” has more than 5.33 million subscribers while his “Lloyd Cafe Cadena VLOGS” has over 3.08 million subscribers as of posting.
Prior to his death, Lloyd posted a tweet saying: “11:11 Healing for Everyone!“
Last August, YouTube vlogger Emman Nimedez passed away after his battle with acute myeloid leukemia.
