Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz: “We will have them located and arrested”
The provincial government of Negros Occidental has ordered the arrest of seven persons who considered themselves as Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APORs) for allegedly refusing to undergo COVID-19 swab testing upon their entry to the province.
According to Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz, the 7 APORs entered the province of Negros Occidental on Tuesday, September 15 with a letter from a Bacolod councilor allowing their entry through Bacolod-Silay Airport
“We will have them located and arrested,” the provincial administrator said.
The APORs were identified as Charle Magne Andres, Dexter Claveria Aquino, Marlo Federiso, and Johnny Yanes of DC Aquino Land Surveying Services, and Jestoni Absin Mangulabnan, Froillan Cris Timplanza Tungol, and Jim Batiduan Valerio of Pax Cable Inc.
According to Inquirer.net, all those who enter the province are required to be swabbed for COVID-19 as part of its safety protocol.
Meanwhile, as of September 14, Negros Occidental has recorded 2,119 confirmed cases of which 1,289 are active. On the other hand, 793 recovered while 37 have died from the dreaded disease.
