Mavy explained that he and Julie first started at Studio 7, which was their first variety show when they signed with Artist Center at GMA, and Julie had a grand opening at that time.
Also, Mavy said that his heart’s pumping when he watched her performance, adding that he thought it was like “love at first sight na happy crush”.
However, Mavy clarified that this wasn’t a serious romantic love but just a “happy crush” instead, adding that Julie was a “true inspiration” for him.
Iya Villania and Camille Prats, the hosts of the said show, agreed with Kapuso star’s admiration for Julie as Asia’s Pop Diva was truly a top-notch performer.
Mavy and Cassy — also known as Maverick and Cassanda — were the twin siblings of Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi.
