Korina Sanchez Makes Revelation On Relationship w/ Mar Roxas
KORINA SANCHEZ – The television host revealed that she was already engaged before she dated former Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas.
One of the celebrity weddings that gathered the people from different fields in 2009 was the wedding of Korina Sanchez and Mar Roxas.
Korina made a name in the field of broadcasting. Apart from being a news reporter, she also ventured hosting a lifestyle show. One of her biggest projects was the ABS-CBN lifestyle program Rated K.
Mar, Manuel Araneta Roxas II in real life, is a prominent personality in the field of politics. He has served as a senator and he also ran for vice president in 2009 but lost to former Vice Pres. Jejomar Binay.
The former Senator was appointed to lead the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG). In 2016, he was the standard bearer of the Liberal Party for the presidential election. He lost to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Though his recent political bids were not victorious, Mar Roxas and his wife, Korina Sanchez, received two of their lives’ greatest blessings – their twins Pepe and Pilar.

Recently, Korina Sanchez talked about her relationship with Mar Roxas. She revealed that she was already engaged when she and the former Senator dated.
Speaking to Toni Gonzaga for I Feel U, Korina expressed that her wedding gown has already been made. However, things between her and her then-fiance were not going well as they are usually fighting.
“I was doubting and I said, ‘Wow this is a very important decision. I have to be super duper sure,'” she expressed based on a report on ABS-CBN News.
According to Korina, she had read a newspaper article about Mar’s ideal woman. It sparked her interest to meet him for it seems like the qualities stated by the former Senator really describes her.
Mar wants an independent woman who has her own life and will do her thing apart from him. According to Korina, they had met one time for a DZMM interview and they dated once after it but they never went out on a date again.
Based on the report, after a year, Mar Roxas who was in the United States called to Korina Sanchez in the Philippines. He just greeted her a happy new year.
“Sabi ko aba okay ito ah. So pagbalik niya ng Pilipinas, nag-date kami ulit. Ayun, tuloy tuloy na iyon,” the broadcaster shared.
On being a wife, Korina said that she is submissive to Mar and it is even surprising her friends. When she’s on a meeting and her husband arrives and wants to talk to her, she would really leave the meeting for a while.
