Welcome Kim Chiu on It’s Showtime family
Kim Chiu joined the ABS-CBN noontime program, It’s Showtime on Monday, September 28 as a regular co-host.
The 30-year-old actress couldn’t contain her happiness upon returning in the said show.
“Sobra, madlang people!” Kim Chiu shouted at Vice Ganda’s question about how happy she was to be part of the Kapamilya network’s noontime show.
The entire It’s Showtime family is complete as they welcome Kim Chiu.
Vice said, “Congratulations for officially becoming our kapatid dito sa Showtime.”
Vice added, “Pero, thank you because you choose to stay with us, you choose to be with us. Salamat. Maraming salamat..”
According to PEP.ph, Kim Chiu became emotional with the word “stay.”
She tearfully said, “Thank you na pinayagan niyo akong tumuntong dito. And magkakasama tayo.”
Meanwhile, due to Congress’ rejection of ABS-CBN’s franchise application, the Kapamilya network has many talents now looking for opportunities outside the station.
Among those who have shifted to TV5 were Jane Oineza, Maja Salvador, Pokwang, Ria Atayde, Jessy Mendiola, Ted Failon and to name a few.
By 2021, Laurenti Dyogi will be the head of Star Magic, the talent-management arm of the Kapamilya network.
Dyogi will replace Star Magic long-time head Mariole Alberto on January 1, 2021.
Because of this movement by the network, some A-lister Star Magic artists want to release their contract.
