Members of Exhausted Rescue Team in Negros Occidental Resting on Grass Earned Praises Online

The heartbreaking photo of exhausted rescue team members in Negros Occidental surfaces online after it was posted on social media.

A Facebook user named Jack F. Gallardo has shared the heartbreaking photos of rescue team members in Sagay City, Negros Occidental. The photo circulates online and earns reactions from the netizens.

In the photo, it can be seen that the members of the rescue team are too tired and exhausted. The poor frontliners lied on the grassy part of the road to take a rest while wearing their personal protective equipment.

According to the Facebook page “News5” The hardworking frontliners reportedly worked all day-long assisted the suspected and COVID-19 patients in the town of Sagay. Aside from this task, they are also responding in numerous emergency cases.

“I’m so proud of them. Since day 1 wala akong narinig na hinanakit o reklamo sa kanila. Naniniwala kasi ang tropa na we are all heroes in our little way of helping our community,” Gallardo said on his statement:

The photo has been reportedly taken around 1:00 am last Saturday (September 5, 2020).

Gallardo is also asking the public to pray for our frontliners who were doing their best to help prevent the spread of coronavirus disease.
