The Department of Health (DOH) had recorded 20,472 newly-reported coronavirus recoveries in the Philippines as of 4:00 p.m. today, September 13, 2020.
This, as the Department of Health gave an update on the total number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines.
According to its COVID-19 Case Bulletin #183 dated September 13, 2020, the Department of Health reported 3,372 newly-reported COVID-19 cases, which brought the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus disease to 261,216.
Since Friday, the Department of Health didn’t report the number of operational laboratories who successfully submitted their data to the COVID-19 Data Repository System as well as the total number of operational laboratories.
However, the Department of Health on Sunday reported that 10 operational laboratories failed to submit their data to the CDRS.
Moreover, 2,850 out of 3,372 newly-reported cases occurred within the recent 14 days — from August 31 to September 13.

The Department of Health also reported 49,277 total active cases as stated in its COVID-19 Case Bulletin #183 dated September 13, 2020.
Moreover, the Department of Health identified the top five areas with the highest number of new coronavirus cases as of September 13 only: Metro Manila with 1,307 new cases, Cavite with 240 new cases, Laguna with 207 new cases, Negros Occidental with 199 new cases, and Bulacan with 145 new cases.
Aside from the number of confirmed cases, the Department of Health had recorded 20,472 newly-reported recoveries and 79 newly-reported fatalities. This brought the total number of recoveries to 207,568 and total coronavirus deaths to 4,371.
