The Department of Health (DOH) had recorded 4,040 newly-reported coronavirus cases in the Philippines as of 4:00 p.m. of September 11, 2020.
This, as the Department of Health gave an update on the total number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines as of today.
According to its COVID-19 Case Bulletin #181 dated September 11, 2020, the Department of Health reported 4,040 newly-reported COVID-19 cases, which brought the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus disease to 252,964.
In today’s case bulletin, the Department of Health didn’t report the number of operational laboratories who successfully submitted their data to the COVID-19 Data Repository System as well as the total number of operational laboratories. However, the Department of Health reported that six operational laboratories failed to submit their data to the CDRS.
Moreover, 2,754 out of 4,040 newly-reported cases occurred within the recent 14 days — from August 29 to September 11.

The Department of Health also reported 62,250 total active cases as stated in its COVID-19 Case Bulletin #181 dated September 11, 2020.
Moreover, the Department of Health identified the top five areas with the highest number of new coronavirus cases as of September 11 only: Metro Manila with 1,813 new cases, Cavite with 435 new cases, Rizal with 218 new cases, Bulacan with 195 new cases, and Laguna with 171 new cases.
Aside from the number of confirmed cases, the Department of Health had recorded 566 newly-reported recoveries and 42 newly-reported fatalities. This brought the total number of recoveries to 186,606 and total coronavirus deaths to 4,108.
