Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid has reacted to the question of whether she has any regrets about switching to ABS-CBN.
In 2018, Regine Velasquez decided to move to ABS-CBN and leave GMA.
And at the height of the pandemic and the eventual closure of the Kapamilya network after its franchise application was denied, many are wondering if she had any remorse for her decision to move to the Kapamilya network.
She said: “Pagka nga tinatanong ako, parang, ‘Do you regret it?’ I do not. I never regret. I will never regret anything,” tugon niya
“It was my decision to go back to ABS, because I wanted to experience something else, something new. I wanted to work with the people that I used to work before. But was not able to because of the whole GMA, ABS thing,” she added according to Push.

Regine’s career began after winning 1984 in Ang Bagong Kampeon and 1989 in the Asia Pacific Singing Contest.
She also ventured into acting and hosting. Among her projects include Star for a Night, Pinoy Pop Superstar and The Clash; and was also a judge on StarStruck and Idol Philippines.
