BDO issued an advisory regarding the inaccessibility of its Digital Banking channels.
BDO Unibank Inc. on Wednesday issued an advisory as the Bank apologized for the inaccessibility of its Digital Banking channels.
This, as the Bank’s digital banking channels remained inaccessible as of the morning of September 30, 2020.
Citing a peak in the volume usage, BDO said in its advisory that the Bank had been experiencing “ever-increasing volume usage” in its digital channels and had taken steps to adjust.
BDO also stated that today’s volume had been substantially “higher than the normal peak levels”. Moreover, BDO stated that the Bank had already taken steps in order to upgrade to a new digital banking platform.
“Please bear with us as we prepare for the migration to the new platform“, BDO Unibank Inc. said in its advisory.
In the meantime, BDO said that clients were encouraged to use the automated teller machines (ATMs) or proceed to the nearest BDO branch for urgent transactions instead.
