Last Friday, August 7, Willie Revillame made a surprise appearance at the press briefing of Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.

In the said briefing, Willie Revillame promised to donate a whopping five million pesos to jeepney drivers.

However, his appearance on Roque’s press briefing was swirled by criticism after Rappler writer Pia Ranada noted in the title of her article that Willie “hijack” the briefing.

Willie Revillame immediately issued a statement slamming the writer and on Wednesday via the latest episode of his program Wowowin: Tutok to Win, he pleaded the public not to bash the writer.

“Trabaho nila yun, e. Okay na yun. Huwag n’yo na siyang i-bash, may kanya-kanya tayong pananaw,” said Willie, who even invited the news writer he was referring to, be a guest on his show.

“Huwag na nating tarayan ang kahit isa. Mahirap na ang buhay, kung anu-ano pa ang ginagawa natin. Makinig na lang ho muna tayo, para sa atin naman ito. Tandaan niyo ho, kayo ang bida rito.” Willie added.
