Richard Gutierrez: “I think he’s going to recover fast”
Richard Gutierrez has aired a statement after Mark Leviste, his co-star on FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Recently, Mark Leviste, the incumbent Batangas vice-governor who also stars in the top-rated series as the right hand of Richard Gutierrez, announced that he’s infected with COVID-19.
But Richard Gutierrez said that he’s not alarmed by the news that his fellow Ang Probinsyano star is positive for the dreaded disease.
“Nakasama namin si Mark last sa Batangas I think first week of July so medyo matagal na panahon niya. Recently lang siya nagpa-swab (test). Nakakalungkot nga kasi si vice gov sobrang welcoming din niya and then talagang nagtiya-tiyaga siya,” he said.
“Nakasama namin siya sa set, naghihintay siya sa set and ang sarap niyang kasama, ang sarap ka-kuwentuhan. Nakakalungkot lang na nangyari sa kanya yun but I think he’s going to recover fast. Pero very optimistic naman siya. In high spirits. So I think kayang kaya niya talunin,” he added.
Richard Gutierrez shared that the cast and crew of the Ang Probinsyano have already undergone COVID-19 swab testing.
According to the 36-year-old actor, they have to do a 14-day quarantine before their taping resumes.
