Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto appealed to healthcare workers to apply in the city.
VICO SOTTO HEALTHCARE WORKERS — Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto had recently appealed to healthcare workers to apply in the city.
This, as Sotto on Monday officially announced that the Pasig City government was looking for additional healthcare workers for their centralized quarantine facility. Sotto also said that non-Pasig residents were also welcome to apply in the city.
In a Facebook Live, Sotto said that the city was lacking medical workers while there were still vacant buildings and beds for coronavirus cases in their facility. Sotto also said that the city was in need of additional healthcare workers.
“Kung ikaw po ay isang healthcare worker, nananawagan po ako, maaaring naghahanap ka ng trabaho, maaaring gusto mong tumulong, please apply“, Sotto said.

In addition, Sotto said that the salary of their service contracts was much higher than the regular ones, adding that the city was hiring even if those applicants were not from Pasig.
Sotto also called on medical technologists to apply as the city’s molecular laboratory will be opening soon.
Moreover, Sotto said that those interested healthcare workers may submit their applications to [email protected].
