Zambales drowning incident
A man from Barangay San Nicolas in Zambales passed away while saving his drowning daughter and friend on Thursday, August 13, 2020.
According to the police report, Jimmy Spates, 57-years-old, died while he’s saving his daughter, 13, who was swept into the deep part of the sea alongside a certain Allan Canonizado, 32, his friend.
Spates’ daughter and Canonizado survived the incident. But unfortunately, he was succumbed to drowning.
They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but Spates was declared dead on arrival.
This is not the first time that a drowning incident occurred in August.
Last week, a gorgeous model-lady rider from Bohol died over a drowning incident somewhere in the island province.
Based on the report, Jhezz Maria Naraga Gementiza went to a falls for swimming but rushing water apparently drift her away.
Many were saddened by the untimely death of the21-year-old lady rider/model who hails from Poblacion, San Isidro, Bohol.
