Jake Cuenca slams basher
Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca has reacted to a basher who told him that celebrities do not feel the effects of the pandemic.
Recently, Senator Cynthia Villar has earned criticisms over her statement about the request of medical workers to place anew Metro Manila for a 2-week Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).
Among those who reacted are ordinary citizens and elite individuals including celebrities such as Jake Cuenca.
The 32-year-old star went to the micro-blogging site wherein he expressed his opinion regarding the statement of Senator Cynthia Villar as she opposed the call of medical workers to shift NCR’s quarantine status to ECQ.
“Maam wag natin baliwalain ang trabahong ginagawa ng mga health care workers natin, sila nga ang nag bubuwis buhay para satin lahat ngayon pandemia. Dapat silang pasalamatan,” Jake Cuenca wrote.
While some agree with Jake Cuenca’s point, a basher commented on his tweet saying: “Agree with senator villar. Di niyo ramdam ang hirap ng mga pinoy dahil may mga ipon kayong mga artista.”
He replied with the statement: “Yes savings that we also use to help our frontliners, Kapamilyas and other Filipinos who are need. Rather than trolling maybe you should put your energy into helping other people instead.”
The basher no longer replied with Jake Cuenca’s statement.
