Authorities said that the search and rescue operation had already become a recovery mission for former Glee actress Naya Rivera.

This, after Naya Rivera had gone missing at a lake in Southern California last Wednesday (US time).

Several 100 volunteers and public safety staff from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, the United States Coast Guard, and specialized dive teams from Tulare County, San Luis Obispo County, and Los Angeles County were involved in the quest for Naya Rivera.

In a report on Deadline, Naya’s body hadn’t been found by Thursday afternoon (US time), adding that they were using “sonar” in order to help with the quest.

Moreover, officials from Ventura County Sheriff’s Department said that there’s no evidence of foul play.

The search and rescue came after Evening Standard previously reported that Naya Rivera rented a boat at about 1:00 in the afternoon (US time) at Lake Piru in Southern California.

As per the report, her four-year-old son was reportedly found floating alone on a rented boat.
