Nikki Valdez has been engaged in a Twitter war with netizens who claim to be fans of Popstar Royalty, Sarah Geronimo.
It all started when Nikki Valdez called out fellow celebrities who kept mum on the denial of the ABS-CBN franchise.
Nikki Valdez insisted that she did not mention Sarah Geronimo when she called out fellow stars to speak for their home network.
She added that she has a good relationship with Sarah Geronimo and her husband, Matteo Guidicelli.
But fans of Sarah Geronimo couldn’t help but react to the statement of the 41-year-old actress.
She went outraged when Sarah G’s fan said: “what if anak mo ang pagtawanan namin.”
It was on July 20 when Nikki took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein she lauded her fellow celebrities for defending ABS-CBN.
Among those who have been vocal in expressing their side, supporting Kapamilya Network are Angel Locsin, Jake Cuenca, Kathryn Bernardo, and Daniel Padilla.
As expected, there are those who contradicted Nikki Valdez’s call.
There are also fans who thought that she is addressing her statement to their idol, Sarah Geronimo.
Nikki Valdez later engage in a Twitter war with the supporters of Sarah Geronimo.
In one of her tweets she said: “Kayong mga fans ni Sarah G, huwag kayong nang-aaway. Why are you all too defensive?“
“Kung nakikita lang ni Sarah itong mga tweets niyo, sigurado ako malulungkot siya sa mga ginagawa ninyo,” she added.
