A netizen attested the revelation of Waldy Carbonell who is currently making rounds online following his claims about the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN.
A certain Ema Mendiola Trinidad, who works at the ABS-CBN Foundation based on her Facebook profile, claimed that she was also being recruited.
“This is very true. I was also being recruited,” she commented.
“The name of company is Tony TV. They were recruiting even before the pandemic. They were very sure ABS would be let go. Like its a done deal,” she added.

Earlier, a video of Waldy Carbonell, a former anchor of ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) and Iraq war correspondent surfaced wherein he claimed that he was offered by a Chinese company to work as an editor-in-chief in a TV station.
According to him, the TV station/network will apparently replace the Kapamilya Network.
ABS-CBN is wooing to have a new franchise after its license to operate expired last May 4, prompting the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) to place it under a shutdown.
