Nadine Lustre Speaks on Denial of the Franchise Bid of ABS-CBN Network
NADINE LUSTRE – The Kapamilya actress broke her silence on the denial of the franchise bid of ABS-CBN network.
The House Franchise Committee denied the franchise bid of the ABS-CBN Network in voting held last July 10. Seventy (70) lawmakers voted to deny the network of a fresh 25-year franchise while only eleven (11) were on the side that favors the network.
Prior to the voting, at least twelve (12) hearings were held to discuss the issues surrounding the network. It was attended by the Kapamilya bosses.
Undeniably, the result of the voting sparked different reactions from the people. Some are satisfied with the decision of the House while others are disappointed and thinking after those whose jobs are at risk following the franchise denial.

Many celebrities have spoken following the ABS-CBN franchise bid denial. Recently, Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre broke her silence on the verdict of the House.
In a series of posts on her Instagram Story, Nadine Lustre expressed her hope that the focus will be on things that really need attention right now. She called for unity stressing there is no more time.
Nadine stated that she is also a Kapamilya and she is also afraid of what is happening. According to her, like other people, she also felt sad for those who lost their jobs and she is also crying for the country.
The Kapamilya actress assured that she keeps on praying and extending help amid the grief. Here’s her Instagram post:
