Stand-up comedian Kim Idol passed away at 8 a.m. this Monday, July 13 at 41 due to AVM or brain arteriovenous malformation.
Kim Idol or Michael Argente in real life died at Manila Central University Hospital in Caloocan City.
Kim was rushed to the hospital on Thursday, July 9, as he was found unconscious in the Philippine Arena which was temporarily turned into a quarantine facility for COVID-19 patients.
He was on duty as marshal of the Bureau of Quarantine at the Philippine Arena when he had AVM or brain arteriovenous malformation.

Kim has not regained consciousness since he was taken to the hospital so his family and friends asked for prayers.
Meanwhile, through Facebook posts this morning, Kim’s mother Maria Taniegra Argente shared the sad news about the comedian’s death.
“Anak alam ko lumaban ka para hindi mo kami iwan. Pinaalis mo lang kami ng Ate mo dahil hindi namin kaya na mawala ka,” she said.
“Maraming nagmamahal sayo anak. We love u!”
Maria then paid tribute to her late child.

According to her, her son is said to be a hero because even though it is dangerous, Kim chose to serve as the frontliner at the Bureau of Quarantine.
