Enchong Dee slams Harry Roque.
Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein he lambasted presidential spokesperson Harry Roque who earlier told the public to “move on” from ABS-CBN franchise denial.
On Monday, July 13, Harry Roque urged the public to move on from the denial of the ABS-CBN franchise renewal application.
When he was asked about how ABS-CBN could have helped in the implementation of the blended learning program of the Department of Education (DepEd) amid the Coronavirus Disease 2019, he said: “Maski po tayo manghinayang, eh tapos na po and boosting. At dumaan na po sa proseso, sang-ayon sa Saligang Batas. Wala na po tayong magagawa. Let’s move on.”
“@attyharryroque you [disgust] me,” he said while sharing a post courtesy of ABS-CBN News that quoted the presidential spokesman’s remark.
“Alam ko makikita mo tong tweet na to because you follow me. Sayang ka,” Enchong Dee added.
Harry Roque stressed that although it’s a loss for the country, the public must respect the House panel’s decision.
According to Inquirer.net, he also made an assurance that the over 11,000 employees who lost their jobs can avail of government assistance intended for displaced workers.
This is not the first time that Harry Roque was under fire over his remarks.
Early this month, he received a backlash from the netizens with his statement about beating the COVID-19 prediction of UP Diliman- which stated that the cases in the country will spike up to 40,000 by the end of June.
