Statement of Angel Locsin on Harry Roque’s Remark Over COVID-19 Help Extended by ABS-CBN
ANGEL LOCSIN – The Kapamilya actress reacted to the remark of Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque on ABS-CBN COVID-19 help.
One of the talks until now is the denial of the bid of the ABS-CBN network for a new franchise. Following the 70-11 voting, the House Franchise Committee denied giving the network a fresh 25-year franchise.
Undeniably, countless hearts were broken by the decision of the house. Eleven (11) thousand employees are at risk of losing their jobs.
ABS-CBN has recently released a statement announcing an employee retrenchment following the denial of its franchise bid. The workers of the Kapamilya network are emotional over what is happening now.

A lot of people are after the ABS-CBN employees who will be losing their jobs amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Recently, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque made a statement regarding the help of the network in the fight against the pandemic.
According to Roque, the Kapamilya network could have done more like what the Ayalas and the MVP did. He stressed that the network donated P200 million but the rest of its donations came from their TV programs’ call for donations.
Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin reacted to the remark of Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque regarding the ABS-CBN COVID-19 help. In an Instagram story, the actress aired her disappointment.
Based on the screenshot posted on the page for Angel Locsin, the actress stressed that instead of thanking the network which took the responsibility, it was criticized. She emphasized that what the network did was not its obligation and it was done wholeheartedly.
The actress also stated that it is really the work of the government to respond to the problem. She stressed that she didn’t hear any help done by Roque but he managed to say those things against the network. Here’s the post:
