Alessandra de Rossi took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter to defend Joyce Bernal after the latter gained criticisms for directing the State of the Nation Address (SONA) 2020.
Recently, Joyce Bernal was slammed on social media over her direction of President Rodrigo Duterte’s 5th SONA.
Netizens also noticed several technical flops in the televised speech of the president that lasted for one hour and 20 minutes.
These include camera angles which seemed to be nauseating, the applause of the attendees which appears to be in a variety show, attendees being zoomed while sleeping, zooming of Duterte’s facial pores, and the president’s difficulty reading his speech via visual cue or teleprompter.

Meanwhile, Alessandra de Rossi earlier went to Twitter wherein she got engage with a netizen who claimed that the director and her team spent millions in filming backgrounds for the SONA.
The basher is referring to Joyce Bernal’s trip to Baguio and La Trinidad alongside Piolo Pascual wherein they shot background for the recent SONA.
Alessandra de Rossi demanded the netizen to show proof or liquidations if the latter’s claim was true.
She also shared a clip on her Twitter which premiered the introductory part of the 5th SONA.
“Ayun naman pala. Ang ganda ng Pilipinas, wa naman pala nakakita. Naiwan pala sa ere,” she wrote with the #resibo.
