Actress Olivia de Havilland died at the age of 104.
Olivia de Havilland, a 104-year-old actress who was one of the last remaining actresses of the Golden Age of Hollywood, has died due to “natural causes”.
This, as her publicist Lisa Goldberg confirmed her death to Variety, saying that Olivia died due to “natural causes” on Sunday at her residence in Paris, France.
At the time of her death, Olivia was the “oldest living performer” to have won an Oscar award.
Suzelle M. Smith, Olivia’s former lawyer, said that the world lost an “international treasure”, adding that she lost her friend and her beloved client as Olivia died peacefully in Paris.

Olivia was born last July 1916 in Tokyo when her father worked as an “English professor” at the Imperial University in Tokyo, Japan. She made her screen debut in Reinhardt’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” way back in 1935.
Moreover, her career spanned over 50 years and almost 50 feature films, adding that she was the “last surviving actress” from “Gone with the Wind”.
Prior to her death, Dame Angela Lansbury News reported on Twitter that Olivia rode a bike as she celebrated her 104th birthday last July 1, 2020.
