Yves Flores shares how grateful he is for Director Cathy
A Soldier’s Heart actor Yves Flores is deeply grateful to Director Cathy Garcia-Molina for how his acting skills have improved.
Before, he didn’t really know about acting.
“Eh, kasi naman kakalabas ko lang noon sa PBB (Pinoy Big Brother) tapos salang agad. Siyempre, sobrang bano pa akong umarte noon, wala pa talaga akong kaalam-alam,” he recalled.
Yves Flores was part of the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4 in 2012. He’s also part of the Star Magic talent group.
“Nahasa ako kay Direk Cathy. Lahat kasi nung mga hindi kailangan sa acting, yung mga sobra-sobrang acting mo tinanggal niya talaga. Pinagtiyagaan ako no’n, eh. Pinagtiyagaan niya ako talaga,” he added.
Yves Flores also shared what he has learned from the award-winning director.
According to him, his good character is what made Director Cathy Garcia-Molina persist in developing his acting skills.
He also became part of Got to Believe starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla and Forevermore starring Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil. Both were directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
He noted that he was supposed to be part of a movie starring Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo, but he was not able to do so due to conflict in schedule.
According to the ABS-CBN entertainment website, Push, Yves opened up that he has been aware of Direk Cathy’s plans to take a break from filming.
