Tally: 326 PNP personnel contracted COVID-19
326 personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) have been recorded with coronavirus disease or COVID-19, based on its latest tally.
In an announcement that the security force has posted on its Facebook page, it revealed that among its personnel, there are 720 probable cases, 683 suspected cases, 174 recoveries and 4 deaths.
According to a report of GMA Network, PNP chief Police General Archie Francisco Gamboa has implemented an adjusted work schedule or revised deployment scheme among its personnel in order to safeguard them from the threats of the pandemic.
The PNP chief also noted that the police force has raised its funding which seeks to provide their personnel with personal protective gear, test kits, and to name a few.

Meanwhile, the Department of Health (DOH) announced via its latest bulletin that the country has recorded 359 additional cases (176- fresh and 183- late cases), 84 new recoveries, and 6 new deaths as of Tuesday, June 2, 2020.
Based on the record of the country’s health department, the Philippines has now a total of 18,997 confirmed cases with 4,063 recoveries and 966 deaths.
