PLDT and Smart officially partnered with Grab for the delivery of internet products.
PLDT and Smart officially announced that both had partnered with Grab in order to deliver internet products to its customers in the Greater Metro Manila area.
This, as PLDT Home customers in the Greater Metro Manila area can now order PLDT Home WiFi Prepaid units via the PLDT Home website and got their units delivered through the Grab Express delivery service. In addition, customers have the option to pay via cash on delivery or via debit card or credit card for cashless delivery.
Smart, on its part, would also allow its customers instant loading of prepaid accounts via Grab app using their GrabPay wallet, adding that its prepaid customers can now buy mobile data packages or load for themselves or for other numbers starting at PHP 50.00.
Alex O. Caeg, the Senior Vice President and Consumer Business Customer Development Head of PLDT-Smart, said that they already started with PLDT products, adding that more of products and services from Smart would be made more accessible via GrabMart.
Caeg also said that the said move was aligned with Smart’s commitment to bring its amazing experiences and simple solutions in order to “enrich the digital lives of Filipinos”.
Meanwhile, Grab Philippines president Brian Cu said that the company partnered with PLDT in order to make the internet more available to more homes using its “superapp services”, adding that the company’s partnership with PLDT jumpstarted the many initiatives that Grab had to deliver “positive and a sustainable impact” for the benefit of all Filipinos in the country.
