Netizens couldn’t help but react on the apparent confession of Daryl Ong that he is banned from ABS-CBN or Kapamilya Network.
Earlier, Daryl Ong took to social media platforms wherein he thanked his fans and supporters as he bids goodbye to the Kapamilya Network.
But netizens were mixed reactions on the confession of Daryl Ong who stated: “Hindi po ako ang umalis sa ABS, tinanggal po ako.”

According to Daryl Ong, it all started when he went to Iloilo for a concert last year.
They were at the airport when they came across a conversation about the franchise issue of ABS-CBN.
However, their chitchat was recorded and apparently it reached the management of ABS-CBN.
Then, he and Bugoy Drilon were told that they are banned from performing on any Kapamilya shows.
This happened even before the hiatus of ABS-CBN following its shutdown due to franchise renewal issues.
Daryl Ong rose to fame when he first joined the Philippine adaptation of The Voice.
After his The Voice stint, he made a name for himself after performing some of the popular soundtracks of ABS-CBN primetime series such as on “On the Wings of Love” and “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
He’s also part of the trio, “BuDaKhel” alongside Bugoy Drilon and Michael Pangilinan.

I am a strong supporter of ABS-CBN, but reading, watching and listening to Daryl’s confession, i am sad, i just hope ABS-CBN will review this issue and will give fair treatment to the arrists,. Daryl is right of saying “hindi na yan aabot, presidente ang kalaban,” which is basically true. Yong taong nagrecord at nagbigay sa management, nakakatulog kaya siya, or ano kaya ang nakuha niya, is he/she happy? Able to remove artists from this company. Shame to you….
