Jed Madela: “God allows its to happen so we will take responsibility for our actions… and learn.”
Singer Jed Madela reacted on the message of Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez for actress Kim Chiu- who was heavily criticized due to her controversial remark.
In a Facebook live, Regine Velasquez became emotional as she defends Kim Chiu from bashers.
The video which was posted on Monday on the social networking site was commended by netizens including singer Jed Madela.
“God allows its to happen so we will take responsibility for our actions… and learn,” Jed Madela wrote.
Although the 42-year-old classical singer who’s known for his vocal prowess did not mention whom he is addressing his comment, netizens claim that it is addressed for Kim Chiu.
A certain Marry Rose Garcia Quiño also commented on the video, agreeing with the statement of Regine Velasquez.
“Kahit po kami Ms. Reg naiiyak din because we are reminded on how to be kind. At we truly believed po na mabuting tao si Kim, she is an inspiration. If Jesus is with us, who can be against us,” she said.
In the said video which was also posted by ABS-CBN News in its article, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid stressed that Kim Chiu has a point, citing the latter’s classroom analogy.
“Sa totoo lang, tama ‘yung sinabi niya. She has her own point of view. Meron siyang sarili niyang opinion about the matter. Sa ibang tao siguro, hindi tama ‘yung pagkakarinig nila or pagkakaintindi nila. But sa sarili niya, meron siyang gustong ipahiwatig sa mga tao,” she noted.
In the later part of the clip, Regine Velasquez called on for the lesson that everyone must learn from the incident. She also noted Kim Chiu is an inspiration, especially with young kids.
