Jasmine Trias rose to fame after placing as the third-place finalist in the third season of the hit singing competition, American Idol.
But what do you think happened to her after her American Idol stint?
The 33-year-old singer was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Mililani Town. She is the eldest daughter of Filipino immigrants from Tanza, Cavite.
In 2004, she auditioned for the American Idol, and eventually, she made it to the top 12. However, her journey ended in the popular singing competition after placing third-place finalist.
Right after her American Idol journey, Jasmine Trias returned to the Philippines wherein she had various projects.

Jasmine Trias has appeared in television commercials and billboard ads for McDonald’s, Smart Telecommunications, Hapee Toothpaste, and Bench Clothing.
She also starred on GMA-7’s defunct show, Extra Challenge, and visited the country’s famous yellow house, Pinoy Big Brother.
She ventured acting and was among the casts of the movie “Suddenly It’s Magic” produced by GMA Films.
Although her career boomed, it also went through topsy-turvy.
But she was able to revive her career and in fact, her guesting continued, and in 2019, she sang the Star-Spangled Banner in the Los Angeles Clippers Hawaiian Night.
Meanwhile, in her recent interview with Monster RX 93.1 which was also published in an article of the ABS-CBN entertainment website, Push, she shared the learnings she had after her American Idol stint.
At present, she is in the US performing on various events and shows. She is in a relationship with singer-songwriter, Ben Stone.
