A governor in Minnesota asked protesters to be tested for COVID-19.
A governor in Minnesota on Thursday evening (US time) asked #BlackLivesMatter protesters to be tested for coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.
This, as Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz on Thursday evening (US time) posted on his Twitter account asking those who had protested the death of George Floyd to “receive a test for COVID-19”.
He also advised the protesters that if they think that they had been exposed to a person who has a coronavirus disease (COVID-19), they should “get a test five days after the event”, adding that if they had tested negative for coronavirus disease after five days, the should “get tested again 14 days after the event”.
Anyone who demonstrated should receive a test for COVID-19.

As of June 4 (US time), Minnesota reported 404 newly-confirmed cases of coronavirus disease, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 26,273. Also, Minnesota reported 29 new fatalities due to COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the United States reported 1,924,051 total cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), 110,173 total fatalities, and 712,252 total recoveries as of 10:00 a.m. of June 5, 2020.
