Photos of a couple who placed a plastic barrier between them while riding on a motorcycle circulated online.
A certain post caught the attention of the netizens when a Facebook user shared photos of a couple who placed a plastic barrier between them while riding on a motorcycle.
This, as Facebook user Ian Pabillan shared his encounter as he was amazed by the couple who brought a plastic barrier just to ensure that they observed physical distancing.

Eduardo Año, the Secretary of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), previously said that back-riding on motorcycles was “still prohibited” despite that the national government eased the community quarantine measures since June 1, 2020. According to Año, back-riding on motorcycles was a “major violation” of health protocols in the country.
However, Alfredo Garbin Jr., the representative of Ako Bicol party-list, previously suggested that the national government would allow motorcycle riders to have “only one back-riding passenger” in areas under general community quarantine (GCQ).

In Ian Pabillan’s Facebook post, it showed that the couple, who were still unidentified as of this writing, wore their helmets and placed a plastic barrier between them while riding on a motorcycle. The plastic barrier was made of wood and plastic.
Ian may think that this was a better way of exercising physical distancing and admitted that he just laughed as he saw the couple on the road.
