A Pinay fan is currently making rounds online after netizens noticed her sounding like the internationally-acclaimed singer, Taylor Swift.
In a Facebook post of user Mark Saranillo, the Filipina singer identified as Kemrie Barcenas can be heard making a soulful rendition of hit singles, Back to December and Love Story.
The video has generated more than 800,000 views, over 23,000 shares, and numerous comments as of posting.
Some netizens couldn’t help but show admiration to the young Filipina with some tagging her as “Taylor Swift ng Pinas”.
In a report published by gmanetwork.com, it stated that Kemrie is a huge fan of Taylor Swift ever since.
“And for a fact that some of my friends would say I kinda sound like her, I mean I should take that as a compliment, right?” she said.
Apart from doing covers through Tiktok, Kemrie is also making a name for herself in limelight via her original composition.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift rose to fame globally with her numerous single such as “Our Song,” “You Belong with Me,” “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” “Shake It Off,” “Blankspace” and to name a few.
