Predator Philippines on Thursday officially announced that it decided to drop ZenPro as one of the company’s streaming partners.
This, as Predator Philippines published an advisory on Predator Gaming’s Facebook page as the company would like to clear its side after ZenPro released his statement regarding the issue of unfair compensation to freelance video editors.
The said issue came as freelancers slammed ZenPro after offering a rate of PHP 200 per video, saying that it was “unfair” to compensate such amount considering that they learned video editing professionally.
ZenPro was one of Rumble Royale’s talents who was known for playing Playerunknown’S Battlegrounds (PUBG) during his live stream.
In its statement, Predator decided that it was “rightful” for the company to discontinue ZenPro from its roster of streaming partners while the company was taking pride in Nexplay and “the glory they give [to] the gaming community”.
Predator also said that the company was also mindful of the employment and economic situation in the Philippines amid the global crisis caused by COVID-19 pandemic, yet the opinion of ZenPro regarding the said issue didn’t reflect the company and its management.
The said advisory came following ZenPro’s statement as he released a public apology regarding the said issue.
Meanwhile, Rumble Royale, ZenPro’s talent agency, has yet to release its statement regarding the said issue.
