Update on the Total Coronavirus Cases in the World Now Amid Pandemic
TOTAL CORONAVIRUS CASES – The total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the world is over two (2) million now.
The world now is faced with a huge challenge – the coronavirus or COVID-19 which claimed more than 130,000 lives already. The said disease is affecting several countries across the globe severely.
Several nations locked their borders to curb the spread of the disease that was first recorded in China. It was in late December 2019 when reports about the disease crossed the surface.
In China, over 81,000 people were infected by coronavirus. At least 3,300 have died of the said disease that is a pandemic now as declared by the World Health Organization (WHO).
According to the World Health, it is going to be a long-term battle against coronavirus. Countries must not easily put their guards down when cases are dropping.
Based on a global tally of Worldometer, the total coronavirus cases in the world now is over two (2) million. A total of 2,073,581 people were infected by the disease.
Out of the over two (2) million total coronavirus case, 509,067 have recovered based on the tally while 134,040 died. The country with the most number of confirmed cases now is the United States.
According to the global tally, U.S. has recorded 641,423 cases of COVID-19. The country recently recorded more than 2,300 deaths bringing the death toll to 28,414.
