Singapore Reports 74 Additional COVID-19 Cases

Singapore had reported 74 additional confirmed cases of coronavirus disease.

Singapore on Wednesday had reported 74 additional confirmed cases of coronavirus disease or COVID-19 which brought the total number of confirmed cases to 1,000.

This, as the health ministry in Singapore said that among the additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were: twenty (20) patients were imported and fifty-four (54) patients were locally transmitted.

Based on a report from Reuters, ten (10) out of 54 were linked to a previous COVID-19 case in an old people’s house.

The health ministry in Singapore also said that five (5) additional recoveries were recorded which brought the total number of confirmed recoveries to 245.

Meanwhile, the global tally of confirmed COVID-19 cases, as of press time, already reached over 886,000, with 44,227 total fatalities and 185,274 recoveries.
