20 years ago, Mandy Moore sang this song in the Philippines
American singer-actress Mandy Moore once again sang this song that she last performed in a concert in the Philippines 20 years ago.
Those who belong in the 90s era would probably remember this blonde girl who popularized the songs Candy and I Wanna Be With You. Aside from being a pop singer who also dances, Mandy also ventured into acting.
One of the most notable movies that she did was A Walk To Remember with Shane West in 2002. One of the official soundtracks of the tearjerker romantic movie is Only Hope which Mandy also sang.
After she performed the song in the movie, she performed it again during her concert in the Philippines 20 years ago. In her recent Instagram Live, the international singer-actress said, “This is the song I sang one time almost 20 years ago. I’ve sang it once in a concert in the Philippines, but not that long after.”
With her surprise performance of the said song, many of her fans felt nostalgia. Many Moore performed Only Hope after two decades with her husband Dawes frontman, Taylor Goldsmith who played the guitar for her.

Mandy also thanked her fans for watching her online live performance. “We’re going to fold it into the tour in some regard, but we hadn’t really quite figured out the right arrangement for it,” she said.
The singer-actress was supposed to release her new album this year titled Silver Landings and have her tour. Unfortunately, it is postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
