This, as Lia Tadesse, a health minister, said that a 60-year-old woman, who had tested positive and was in treatment at the hospital since March 31, died due to COVID-19 or coronavirus disease.
As reported by Reuters, Ethiopia has recorded a total of 43 confirmed COVID-19 cases. Globally, the coronavirus disease, as of this writing, had infected over 1.2 million patients and killed over 68,000 people worldwide, adding that 259,544 patients across the globe were already recovered from the virus.
