Huawei Technologies, in partnership with Chinese telcos, would bring the 5G technology to the Mount Everest.
This, as Huawei Technologies had partnered up with China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom to launch the 5G infrastructure at the Mount Everest, the tallest mountain in the world.
The said news came after Huawei Technologies posted an announcement on Weibo and was confirmed by its spokesperson.
Huawei Technologies and Chinese telecommunication operators planned to have two (2) additional base stations which will be done by China Mobile as these base stations will be placed in altitudes of 6,500 meters.
The Mount Everest was located at the China-Nepal international border.
