Following the official launch of the 2020 edition of the iPhone SE, Apple decided to discontinue the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

This, as the iPhone SE 2020 replaced the iPhone 8, yet there’s no replacement for Apple’s iPhone 8 Plus as of this writing.

The iPhone SE 2020 has a Home button, a 4.7-inch display, and an Apple A13 Bionic Chip. Its form factor was nearly identical to Apple’s iPhone 8.

However, in a report from 9to5Mac, the company was planning to release the “Plus” version of the iPhone SE 2020 in the future.
