Fifty-seven persons in Caloocan were nabbed for violating ECQ

Fifty-seven persons were captured in Caloocan for violating the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) on Friday evening.

According to Col. Dario Menor, the police chief of Caloocan PNP, the violators from Barangay 28, Barangay 35, and Barangay Bagong Barrio were caught hanging around the streets.

In a report from ABS-CBN News, Caloocan PNP confiscated suspected marijuana from one of the violators.

In a video from Caloocan PNP, it showed that violators were holding a rope while they’re walking at the streets. Menor explained that this would maintain their physical distancing while heading to the police station.

As per the report, Caloocan PNP will file a case against ECQ violators for disobeying the person in authority in relation to the guidelines of the enhanced community quarantine.
